Connect Lodekeep to Codex CLI
The installer merges Lodekeep into the Codex config without touching your other settings.
Local bridge; Codex itself needs no paid plan. Requires the Max or Team plan on Lodekeep: coding-agent clients are a paid surface. Chat clients (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok) work on every plan.
- Codex CLI
npx lodekeep@latest connect --client codex - Restart Codex afterwards so it loads the server.
- Or skip the installer entirely and point Codex straight at the hosted connector. This writes the same ~/.codex/config.toml, which is shared by the Codex CLI, the IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app, so one command covers all three.

Check it worked
Say “Remember this: my test phrase is gold vein.” Then open a different AI you have connected and ask “what is my test phrase?” If it answers gold vein, the same memory is reaching both.
