Connect Lodekeep to Claude
Claude talks to Lodekeep directly as a remote connector. One click if you are signed in.
Works on Claude for web, desktop and mobile, on every plan including Free. No install, no API key. Free is limited to one custom connector.

Opens Claude with the name and URL already filled in. Approve the sign-in and you are done.
- Prefer to do it by hand? Open Customize, then Connectors (claude.ai/customize/connectors), click the + next to Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. On older accounts this lives under Settings, then Connectors.
- Remote MCP server URL
https://lodekeep.com/mcp - Leave any OAuth Client ID and Client Secret fields blank. Lodekeep registers the app automatically, so those stay empty. This is the step people get wrong.
- Sign in with your Lodekeep email and approve the consent screen. On a Team or Enterprise workspace an owner has to add it from Organization settings instead.
- Bonus: a connector added here is automatically available in Claude Code when you sign in with the same account, so this one step covers Claude on web, desktop, mobile and the terminal.
Check it worked
Say “Remember this: my test phrase is gold vein.” Then open a different AI you have connected and ask “what is my test phrase?” If it answers gold vein, the same memory is reaching both.
Questions about Claude
- Does this work with the free Claude plan?
- Yes. Claude connects to Lodekeep as a remote MCP connector on any Claude plan, including free. Only coding-agent clients (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI) need Lodekeep Max or Team.
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. Claude connects to the hosted URL directly. Paste https://lodekeep.com/mcp as a custom connector, leave the Client ID and Secret blank, and sign in.
- Why are the Client ID and Client Secret fields blank?
- Lodekeep registers the app automatically using OAuth dynamic client registration. Filling those fields in is the most common setup mistake.
- Can Claude read memories I saved from ChatGPT or Cursor?
- Yes. The memory lives outside the chat, so anything captured in one connected client is readable in the others.
- What happens when a fact changes?
- Correct it and the old version stops being recalled. Lodekeep supports explicit supersession, so a corrected fact does not compete with the stale one.
- Is my data used to train models?
- No. Your memories are never used to train any model and are never sold.
- Can I control what Claude is allowed to see?
- Yes. Memory is organised into projects, and each project is individually included in or excluded from recall.
- How do I disconnect it?
- Remove the connector in Claude's settings, and revoke the token from your Lodekeep dashboard. Your memories stay in your account.
